Pilot Sites for the Learning to Finish Campaign

Dropping out of high school is motivated by a variety of factors and many of them have little to do with school or homework. The only way at-risk youths will remain in school and earn their diploma is if their communities make a concerted effort to help them.

Enter the Learning to Finishâ„¢ Campaign. Partnering with nonprofits, school systems, and community foundations the Pew Partnership for Civic Change seeks to help communities identify relevant assets and apply them to the dropout epidemic in their schools. Pilot programs have been established in Jacksonville, FL and Shreveport, LA where the dropout problem is being monitored and benchmarks of success established.

The pilot sites for the campaign will use these pages to detail their progress to date, what they have learned, where their greatest challenges lie, where opportunities for positive change exist, and how we can all work together to make a difference.
